Wallscourt Park | Post and Parcels

By UWEaccomm 01 Sep 2022

It’s likely that you will receive some post and parcels while you are living in Wallscourt Park. Bookmark this page for reference so you know where to go to collect your deliveries.

Letters

Houses

Letters will come directly through the letterbox in the door of each Wallscourt Park house.

Flats and Studios

For people living in flats and studios, you have a letterbox at the bottom of your block. The number on your letterbox matches your flat. It’s unlocked with the padlock code Accommodation Services emailed you when you moved in. Lost the email? No problem! Send them a quick email and they will reply with the code.

Parcels

Anything that won’t fit into the letterbox will be delivered to Accommodation Customer Services main reception desk in 2N02.

You will receive an email from Accommodation Services when your parcel is ready to collect. Ignore any emails from your courier as that just means it’s arrived on campus. They aim to process parcels within 48 hours of it arriving on campus, but during peak times (Black Friday, Christmas, etc.) it might take a little longer.

Bring your student ID with you when you come to collect. That is the quickest way for them to match you to your parcel. The quicker they match you, the quicker you get your parcel, and the quicker the queue goes down.

Collect your parcel within 10 days. Can’t collect? Nominate a friend. Email Accommodation Services with your full name and student ID, plus the name of who will be collecting and their Student ID and they’ll make a note of it.

Opening times

Accommodation Customer Services in 2N02 (opposite OneZone) are open Monday-Sunday, 08:00-18:45.

The busiest collection times are lunch time and from 16:30 to 17:30.

Tips for collecting post and parcels:

  • Add your student ID to your address so we can match it to you.
  • Don’t use a nickname or abbreviations. Make sure to use the name you registered with as a student.
  • Save yourself a journey and wait for our email to come through. If it hasn’t, your parcel will not be ready for collection.
  • Don’t forget to change your address when you move out. UWE Bristol can only accept post for current students.

Sending post and parcels

PrintWorks in 1N22 are our on campus postal service. From there you can post letters and parcels (up to 2kg within the UK and 1kg internationally).
