Cheltenham & Gloucester - Travel
Both Cheltenham and Gloucester are connected to Bristol via regular trains.
If you’re studying on the City campus you’ll need to catch the train to Bristol Temple Meads. For Frenchay students both Bristol Parkway and Filton Abbey Wood stations are around a 15 minute walk away.
You’re eligible for a free 16-25 Railcard as part of your travel package from UWE Bristol. This Railcard can save you up to a third on your journeys. You’ll need to buy the Railcard first and then UWE will reimburse you the cost.
Investing in a season ticket could save you money in the long run. You can find out more about season tickets, as well as buy digital tickets, on the Trainline app (available on the App Store and Google Pay).
