Guide Dogs Bring Joy to Campus! 🐶

Student Life organized a heartwarming Guide Dog Event at UWE Frenchay Campus, and it was nothing short of incredible! The event brought together students, staff, and faculty, all eager to meet and interact with the wonderful guide dogs.

From the moment they arrived, these adorable and highly trained dogs stole the spotlight. Attendees had the chance to pet, cuddle, and learn more about the essential work that guide dogs do to support people with visual impairments. The campus buzzed with excitement, laughter, and wagging tails as the dogs spread joy to everyone who stopped by.

Beyond the fun, the event also had a meaningful impact. Many visitors purchased merchandise and made generous donations to support Guide Dogs UK, a charity dedicated to training and providing guide dogs for individuals with sight loss. Their work plays a vital role in promoting independence and accessibility, and it was inspiring to see the UWE community come together to support such an important cause.

The Guide Dog Event was a perfect blend of education, relaxation, and community spirit, giving everyone a much-needed break from studies while contributing to a great cause. If you missed it this time, don’t worry—Student Life is always planning exciting and engaging events, so stay tuned for more opportunities to get involved!
