The School of Social Sciences and the Centre for Sport are working together to promote student wellbeing by offering late-night relaxation classes featuring yoga and meditation techniques.
These innovative sessions aim to foster healthy habits while providing an alternative to potentially harmful coping mechanisms, such as excessive social media use, binge-watching, or reliance on alcohol and other substances. Tailored for students and staff who may struggle with typical circadian rhythms or experience sleep difficulties, particularly during demanding assignment periods, these classes create a calming space for relaxation and stress relief.
To ensure the sessions meet the needs and preferences of our community, we have prepared a short survey to gather your feedback. The survey covers your interest in the classes, preferred timings, motivations, and any potential challenges to participation. We would greatly value your input—please share your thoughts by clicking the link HERE.
