It’s likely that you will receive some post and parcels while you are living in the Student Village. Bookmark this page for reference so you know where to go to collect your deliveries.
Your address:
To make sure your post and parcels reach you as quickly as possible, you must make sure it is addressed correctly. You should address it:
Your full name and student ID
Flat and room number
Courtyard Name
UWE Frenchay Campus
Coldharbour Lane
Bristol
BS16 1ZG (Brecon Court), BS16 1ZH (Cotswold Court), BS16 1ZL (Mendip Court), BS16 1ZP (Quantock Court)
Letters
Each flat in Student Village has an assigned letterbox. You’ll find these in the pavilions of each courtyard. Your flat number will match your letterbox. Each box is kept safe and secure with a padlock. Accommodation Services will have emailed you the code to unlock this padlock when you move in. Lost the email? No problem! Send them a quick email and they will reply with the code.
Parcels
Anything that won’t fit into the letterbox will be delivered to Accommodation Customer Services main reception desk in 2N02.
You will receive an email from Accommodation Services when your parcel is ready to collect. Ignore any emails from your courier as that just means it’s arrived on campus. They aim to process everything within 48 hours of it arriving on campus. But during peak times (Black Friday, Christmas, etc.) it might take a little longer.
Bring your student ID with you when you come to collect. That is the quickest way for them to match you to your parcel. The quicker they match you, the quicker you get your parcel, and the quicker the queue goes down.
Collect your parcel within 10 days. Can’t collect? Nominate a friend. Email Accommodation Services with your full name and student ID, plus the name of who will be collecting and their Student ID and they’ll make a note of it.
Opening times
Accommodation Customer Services in N Block are open Monday-Sunday, 08:00-18:45.
The busiest collection times are lunch time and from 16:30 to 17:30.
Tips for collecting your post and parcels
- Add your student ID to your address so we can match it to you.
- Don’t use a nickname or abbreviations. Make sure to use the name you registered with as a student.
- Save yourself a journey and wait for our email to come through. If it hasn’t, your parcel will not be ready for collection.
- Don’t forget to change your address when you move out. UWE Bristol can only accept post for current students.
