Enjoy an outdoors trip and discover the wildlife at this incredible space.

See the Eurasian brown bears alongside wolves in Bear Wood, go wild and explore 50 acres of beautiful nature, from woodlands and gardens to the tranquil Tower Meadow - perfect for summer picnics. There are giraffes, lemurs, meerkats, river hogs, deer, wolves, bears, zebras, cheetahs and birds. 

This event is for our current students only.

The Student Life Team will leave the Frenchay Campus at 12.30 - please meet them at the bus stops by 12.15. Alternatively you can meet the team at the venue at 13.00 (Address: Zoo Project, Blackhorse Hill, Bristol BS10 7TP).

Conservation

The Bristol Zoo Project saves wildlife through conservation science research, working to protect species and habitats overseas, encouraging sustainable behaviours and perceptions, educating tomorrow’s wildlife warriors and connecting people with nature through a great day out.

Cost £5.00 

To be eligible for booking you must be registered as a student in the current academic year, 1 ticket per student.

UWE Student Life reserves the right to modify or cancel any event due to unforeseen circumstances, including if the event is weather dependent. If you cannot attend an event, please let us know within 48 hours of making your booking. Bookings are non-transferable and only for use by the named person on the ticket.

Student Life undertake comprehensive risk assessments for all our events and we will review these alongside our policies on a regular basis.
