Come and join us at UWE's pop-up Queer Café.
A inclusive event for LGBTQIA+ students and advocates.
The Queer Café serves as a cornerstone of support, empowerment, and advocacy for LGBTQIA+ students, fostering a culture of acceptance, belonging, and social change within the university campus and wider community.
Join the Student Life Team on Saturday 20th September at Purdown View Student Hub on Frenchay Campus for a fun and inclusive event. Come mingle with fellow students and allies, enjoy some snacks, and participate in discussions and activities. Whether you're a member of the community or just looking to learn more, everyone is welcome at Queer Café.
We will have giveaways and there will be prizes to be won.
To be eligible for booking you must be registered as a student in the current academic year, 1 ticket per student.
UWE Student Life reserves the right to modify or cancel any event due to unforeseen circumstances, including if the event is weather dependent. If you cannot attend an event, please let us know within 48 hours of making your booking. Bookings are non-transferable and only for use by the named person on the ticket.
Student Life undertake comprehensive risk assessments for all our events and we will review these alongside our policies on a regular basis.
