Hi, nice to meet you. I study Music technology!

I’m a night owl with an early bird routine. 😭 Nerdy at heart, I’m a musician who loves expressing myself through singing, writing, and drawing.

You’ll probably find me either lost in a good book or in the gym again.😅  

Passionate about cooking, baking, exploring new places and of course - I’m an animal lover. 🐶

Fun Fact - when I was younger, I experienced swimming with sharks

I'm in my final year studying Music Technology, and I'm proud to be a member of the UWE community, now entering my third year with the Student Life team. I'm a musician with a fascination for literature! I’m looking forward to the academic year and meeting new students.

I’m Isuri Ratnayake from Sri Lanka. I’m in my second year of my Master's in Architecture Studies at UWE.

• When I’m not playing tennis, baking, or traveling, I love getting creative with buildings and design.
• I enjoy finding ways to make spaces that bring people and communities together.

I'm studying Business & Management at UWE, but my heart lives in the creative world. 🎨✨ I'm a resident jack-of-all-trades, whether it's 🧁 baking, 🎤 singing, 🎮 gaming, 🧵 crafts, or 💻 technical know-how.

💜 I'm also a Neurodivergent Support Champion, here to help make Student Life events and activities as inclusive and accessible as possible. If you'd like to chat, ask a question, or need a bit of support, look out for me wearing a purple armband and lanyard.

Hi, I’m Rameen

👋 I’m a Postgraduate Health Technology student and one of your Student Life Assistants.

 I’m a scientist at heart 🧫🔬 and genuinely love being in the lab, learning about new technology and all things science! Outside of my science obsession I love Pilates, dancing, travelling, exploring new cafés and food spots, and spending time with friend. I’m always up for trying something new — especially if good food is involved. 

 

Hi, I’m Kaung Thit ! Call me “Kaung” or “KT” 😊

I'm a Computer Science student at UWE and a Student Life Assistant, where I get to be involved in everything from welcoming new students to helping create events, activities and content around student life.

I'm originally from Myanmar MM, so being part of the Student Life team has been a great way for me to meet people from different backgrounds while also helping other students feel more connected to the University. 

Outside of work and studying, you'll usually fine me doing something creative or tech related.  I enjoy playing guitar, making music, experimenting with AI and creating video's and digital content.  I'm also always up for trying something new - especially if it involves good people, good music or a slightly questionable amount of caffeine. ☕😄

What I enjoy most about being a Student Life Assistant is the people!  Whether I'm helping at an event, meeting students, or working behind the scenes with the team, there's always something different going on.

I'm a final-year Architecture & Environmental Engineering student at UWE. I’ve been part of the Student Life team for a while and have been actively involved across the UWE community, from the SU to the Library.

 Fun facts about me:

I’m a bit of an adrenaline junkie! 🪂 I love travelling ✈️🌍. My most recent adventure took me to Fiji 🇫🇯, and one of my favourite things about travelling is interacting with new cultures, meeting people from different backgrounds, and learning new languages. 🗣️✨

Swimming 🏊‍♀️, music 🎶 and dancing 💃 all have a special place in my heart ❤️.

 Hello there! I'm studying English Language and Linguistics. 

 I'm always keen to learn something new and have way too many language-based facts for you 😂 

When I'm not studying, you might find me outside exploring the local area or birdwatching (I love the parakeets on campus 🦜). I love nature and animals, especially dogs - my favourite is a sausage dog! 

 Fun fact: I once walked a ferret!

I’m a keen student; spending many hours typing away at my assignments.  To switch off and relax I like to game, preferably a good RPG. I also like to be active, so you might spot me walking or jogging around campus, feel free to stop me and say hi!

I am a postgraduate student who is training to become a barrister on UWE's Bar Training Course!   

Outside of my studies, I enjoy trying new foods, playing the guitar and going to trivia nights with my friends. If you see me anywhere on campus, it will almost definitely be in the library with a coffee in my hand. 😅

 Fun Fact: I am also an avid traveller - my favourite place that I have visited is Reykjavik, Iceland."
