Did you know that singing is really good for you, and karaoke in particular has many surprising benefits.

Singing enhances natural connections and improves cognitive flexibility. Karaoke singing in particular offers a holistic mental workout that promotes overall brain health and creativity. Studies have shown that singing can also improve your memory.

Singing releases endorphins that reduce stress and anxiety, it allows emotional release, enhances breathing, can build confidence, facilitates social connections and best of all it's really good fun!

So why not join the student life team and have a go, or come and see what it's like - no pressure to sing. We will get out the bean bags so it'll be an enjoyable and cosy evening.

Student Life undertake comprehensive risk assessments for all our events and we will review these alongside our policies on a regular basis.
