If you don't know what a Passivhaus is, it's a sustainable new way of living and provides occupants with healthier wellbeing, using very little energy! Purdown's Passivhaus technology is going to help UWE address climate change and achieve our aim to have net-zero greenhouse emissions by 2030, and YOU get to be a part of that!

Getting to know your new home

You'll find a range of benefits that come with living in Purdown, such as:

Your room includes:

• All flats have small double beds, apart from the premium en-suites and studios, which have full double beds
• You also have a wardrobe, desk, chair and mirror
• En-suites have a shower, toilet, and waterbasin 

The shared facilities are the perfect opportunity for you to get to know your flat/housemates!

• You'll find an equipped kitchen with an induction hob, oven, microwave, kettle, fridge/freezer, cupboards, and bins
  
• Enjoy meals together in the shared living area with the TV and sofas!
• Laundry, bike storage and internet, oh my!

Tips

• You will need to bring your own crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils, BUT, make sure you discuss with your housemates on who is bringing what- you don't want to end up with eight air fryers in one flat!
• Don't forget that parking is not available, so now would be a good time to get to know Bristol's public transport systems or even start to take up bike riding!
