Leaving campus over the holiday

💐 Spring break is just around the corner 💐

It starts on Friday 3 April 2026 and ends on Friday 17 April 2026. Just like at Christmas, you can stay in your accommodation or come and go as you please.

There will be support available, including from Accommodation Services, throughout the break. More details are on the UWE website.

Leaving campus

If you're going away, you don't need to pack everything up, only what you need to take. Don't forget to throw away any food that might expire while you're away. It's also a good opportunity to tidy up. There's nothing like coming back to a neat and clean room!

If you're having a spring clean, you can drop any unwanted (but good quality) belongings at the Sustainability Hub on Frenchay campus. There are also boxes to put any unopened, in-date dried or tinned food (no refrigerated food, please!) in:

• Cotswold Court Pavilion
• Wallscourt Park Student Life Lounge
• Purdown View Block 8 common room

Barriers will be open on Friday 27 March until Sunday 29 March. If you're being picked up from campus on another date, all cars should go to the East Entrance to receive the day's barrier code.

Returning to campus

Barriers will be open on Friday 17 April until Sunday 19 April. If you're being dropped off to campus on another date, all cars should go to t he East Entrance to receive the barrier code.

Don't forget to reactivate your keycard when you return. Hover the card over your ready until it flashes green. Need some more help? We have a guide on how our keys work.
