Bristol is such a great city to be Veggie or Vegan. We really are spoiled for choice with so many amazing restaurants serving delicious veggie and vegan foods. So whether you eat a full-on plant-based diet or just looking to try a new cuisine, here are some of our favourite places to try ...
Baba Ganoush Jerusalem Falafel, St Paul's
Serves the self-proclaimed best falafel in Bristol and we agree! This hidden gem serves amazing Middle Eastern food. Not to be missed.
Fi Real, Old Market
If you're looking for some tasty Caribbean food, Fi Real is the place for you! All their food is vegan too - Bonus!
Hummusapiens, pop up Finzels Reach & Harbourside Market
Hummasapiens is amazing and priced really reasonably! Their food is all Vegan, but trust me you will not miss meat or dairy one bit.
The Dirty Fries topped with Seitan or Jackfruit are to die for.
Owwee Vegan, Baldwin Street
Looking for some Vegan comfort food? Well, look no further! Who said vegan food had to be healthy?
Root, Cargo Harbourside
Root is not exclusively Vegan or Veggie, it markets its food as ''small vegetable plates, a little meat on the side'' so it's perfect if you're dining with a meat-eater, they might even convert. It's on the pricier side, but perfect for special occasions and treats!
Koocha Mezze Bar, Gloucester Road
Koocha delivers Persian inspired mezze, kebabs and cocktails that look as good as they taste. YUM!!
Nadu, Gloucester Road
Sri Lankan food is definitely one of my favourite cuisines right now and this new addition to Stokes Croft has some excellent veggie and vegan options.
Renato's, King Street
Restaurant and pizzeria in the heart of Bristol, owned by Left Handed Giant. Serving up all vegetarian New York and Detroit-style pizza until the early hours of the morning
