Ivan Del Vecchio will lead the event with a demonstration on cooking pasta and making delicious sauces. Then you get to give it a go!
So join us for an evening of culinary delight. Whether you're a seasoned chef or a beginner in the kitchen, this event is perfect for all food enthusiasts. Learn new recipes, cooking techniques, and tips from our expert chef. Get hands-on experience in preparing delicious dishes and enjoy tasting your creations. Don't miss this opportunity to sharpen your cooking skills and meet like-minded foodies.
Here's how the evening will run:
Introduction - Welcome and Overview of the evening
- Discussion on the dish to be prepared, its origin and and key ingredients or techniques
- Demonstration (20-30 minutes): Ivan will prepare the dish step by step, explaining the process and tips for success. Questions can be asked.
- Cooking Session (45-60 minutes): students will cook the dish with guidance from Ivan.
- Tasting
- Everyone gets to enjoy their creations together.
- Q&A or discussion about variations and additional tips.

To be eligible for booking you must be registered as a student in the current academic year, 1 ticket per student.
UWE Student Life reserves the right to modify or cancel any event due to unforeseen circumstances, including if the event is weather dependent. If you cannot attend an event, please let us know within 48 hours of making your booking. We operate a waiting list, your ticket can be passed onto another student. Failure to let us know will incur students who do not attend being charged the cost of the unused ticket. Please note bookings are non-transferable and only for use by the named person on the ticket.
