Showcasing the city at its brightest, Bristol Light Festival brings light, fun and colour to the city centre across a free, city-wide celebration.
Established in 2020, the festival showcases Bristol as the vibrant, playful and creative city that we know and love, offering artists a platform to showcase their work at locations across the city.
Each edition celebrates artistic freedom and experimentation, featuring world-premier works alongside some of the best local, national, and international talent.
Join the student life team so we can explore the city’s popular and lesser-known paths together, uncovering a new light of Bristol with every visit.
Bristol Light Festival is a firm fixture on the Bristol event calendar, where 2025 saw over 200,000 visitors across 10 dazzling evenings.
The team will travel by bus from Frenchay bus stops at 17.15 into the town centre. Travel with them or meet them there.
