You can grab a coffee or take a break with a hot meal from The Hub. Or if you fancy a little adventure, Fishponds Road is a 20 minute walk away or hop on the 46 bus save some time.
On campus
The Hub – H Block
Not only is The Hub a great, light and spacious environment to do a spot of studying, it is also a delicious place to treat yourself to a breakfast and lunch.
I love the pitta boxes which come stuffed to the brim with falafels, salad and houmous. For something warmer, check out the jacket potatoes which can come loaded with two fillings.
Keep an eye out for the Eat Well For Less offer which is a hot meal for under £5.
Open Monday-Friday, 08:00-15:00
The Students’ Union
Who doesn’t love a meal deal? You can grab a sandwich, drink and snack at lunch time while grabbing some ingredients dinner – don’t forget the treats for afterwards too!
Open Monday-Thursday (08:30-16:30) and Friday (08:30-15:00)
Off campus
Glenside campus is in north Bristol, but it really doesn’t take long to travel around to some tasty destinations.
Fishponds Road
Fishpond Road isn’t just about Morrisons and Aldi. In recent years, this stretch of shops has become one of Bristol’s hottest spots to grab a bite to eat and a drink. It’s the perfect place to head on a Saturday morning! Our top three places are:
- The Crafty Egg – get the baked eggs with extra cheese!
- The All In – check out their mid-week deals to save big
- FED – very photogenic coffees and cakes
Easton
This Bristolian suburb is a hub of cafés and takeaways. It’s just a little further along the 46 bus route so very easy to get to from Glenside campus. There are two main areas for food: St Mark’s Road and Stapleton Road.
Make a reservation at:
- The Garden of Easton – a plant lover’s paradise
- Thali – locally sourced food cooked with traditional Indian techniques
- Real Habesha – a hidden gem serving delicious Ethiopian food
