Lunar New Year, often called the Spring Festival or Chinese New Year, is the most important holiday in China and Chinese communities around the world. It is not only celebrated in China. Vietnam, Korea, Malaysia, and Singapore also celebrate the Lunar New Year holiday. The two-week celebration includes family and friends, feasting and fireworks, parties and parades.
Come celebrate the vibrant traditions of Chinese & Lunar New Year with the Student Life Team and enjoy delicious food, and great music! This student-run event is a perfect way to experience the culture, meet new friends, and have a blast. Everyone is welcome to join in the festivities!

To be eligible for booking you must be registered as a student in the current academic year, 1 ticket per student.
UWE Student Life reserves the right to modify or cancel any event due to unforeseen circumstances, including if the event is weather dependent. If you cannot attend an event, please let us know within 48 hours of making your booking. Bookings are non-transferable and only for use by the named person on the ticket.
